This Pigeon River (distinct from the famous Pigeon River near Vanderbilt) flows through Ottawa County near Olive Center to Lake Michigan. A modest stream with spring steelhead runs and some resident brown trout in the cooler upstream sections.

Primarily a steelhead stream in spring. The lower reaches near the lake draw the most attention during the run. Upstream sections hold some browns but warm quickly in summer. Not a major destination, but accessible for Grand Rapids-area anglers looking for steelhead close to home.
